Avalache

Avalanche is a game where you, a penguin, go downhill, trying to beat the avalanche down. This is almost a bare-bones (no extras) running game. The only thing is that you... check that. This is a bare-bones running game. There are 2 power-ups, a rocket and a ski lift. you can take these to make you go faster. The only other thing to do is collect fish. Those only give you points, and there are no rewards.  The only thing going for this game is that it is addictive

Tasty Planet Dino Time

Okay, this is basically the same game as Tasty Planet, with dinosaurs thrown into the mix. You just go around eating anything smaller than you. There are some changes, though. The best thing is that the timer is... gone!!! Although this might seem like less of a challenge, the medals are reward enough. This only makes the game so much better, though.

Tasty Planet

Tasty Planet is an arcade game where you are "grey goop" eating everything bigger that you. Your goal is to make yourself big enough to eat the world!. It does get frustrating, though, so be prepared. The biggest issue is that there is a timer. That gets annoying. This is one of my smaller reviews, because there isn't much to talk about.

Minecraft

Minecraft is an ever-changing game that is also known as a sandbox game.  First you need to make sure you make it through because you are stranded on an island...alone.  The only way to survive is to build a shelter before night falls.  You need to watch out, though, because there are monsters on the island and their goal is to eat you. Minecraft is addictive; one of the most addictive things is mining and crafting, You need to craft to survive even the first day.

Webkinz

Webkinz is a PC game, and though some PC games stink, this one is pretty fun. It's main bump in the road is that you might not like stuffed animals, but these ones are worth the pay, and there are "little kinz" with prices that average at about $5.33. The animals can also be a nice way to entertain someone who does like stuffed animals(make sure you keep the code, though, it is important. There are many things to do around Webkinz world from playing in the arcade to make money through watching TV in your room. The other thing is that you only have a year to play before you lose your pet. you can enter other animals on the same account, to make it last longer. It all comes to this? Do you feel "babyish" with a stuffed animal? If you don't You should like this game.

Ben 10:Cosmic Destruction

This is a Ben 10 game where you are able to change into different aliens. But... this game stinks. I mean the first "cut scene" I came upon stunk! Badly! There is a bad level design, and the controls feel weird. There was that feeling that this game was a stinker from the start. You feel like you are made way too powerful, then, suddenly you're to weak. This is what it is though, and I hope that you won't buy this.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-land Mayhem!

The third installment in the Mario VS. Donkey Kong series, you would know what to expect. This is a Mario game where you take control of "mini Marios," little wind-up playthings, to defeat donkey kong, who has stolen mario's poor used-to-be girlfriend, Pauline. Don't expect to be able to directly control the Mario's, though, as you can only put springs, pipes, and other items to alter the Mini Mario's course. As there is a downloadable version on DSiWare, though, you'd wonder why you should by this . I'll tell you why you should at least consider buying this game. This game version has a construction mode, a mode, where, after you complete a test, you are allowed to make your own levels, and you show off your level by letting someone play it. This is inter-wounded with the main mode. as you complete levels in the story, you get items that you are allowed to use in construction mode. This is only one of the things that is refined in the DSiWare version of this game.

3DS Mania

After hearing one of my friends talk all about it, I've decided to give way too much info on the 3DS. Here  is tons of stuff, good and bad, about it.
  • You want to always make sure that the 3D is fit for you. Some people don't care what level the 3D is on, it works for them, period. Other people are not so lucky to share the same fate. if they don't play in their sweet spot (a place somewhere that you can have 3D looking the cleanest) they will start throwing up. It is also to note that the 3D slider will slip and go down the meter, taking you out of your sweet spot. You might also, depending on the games you buy, want to move the slider up or down, because different games have different levels, so to speak.
  • Don't try to "see" the 3D effect. It will just ruin the feeling of the 3D effect, and hurt your eyes. instead, look at the back screen and you'll "learn" how to see the 3D effect. This will save your eyes the burning sensation that follows trying to look at the 3D.
  • AR games need good sunlight to work properly. otherwise they look terrible and they don't play out as well as you'd like them to.
  • Blow on the mic. to make the icon spin around and around. This is really fun if done over friends back. It can drive them crazy though, trust me. So you better watch out! Great, I must sound like Santa. I spent about 10 min. doing this to a friend. Really, though, watch out. This is also not suggested to do to an easily annoyed friend.
  • You're able to use the gyroscope to control 3D effects when in camera mode. So you would blow into the mic. to get bubbles, sparkles, ETC. Then tip your system downwards, and then you'll see the stuff follow the rules of gravity. ( When I say downwards, I don't mean to lower the 3DS, I mean face the 3DS's two exterior cameras to the ground.)
  • Playing the StreetPass Puzzle Quest is very addictive, And I have to admit that the only one of my friends to own a 3DS (as of the time this was posted) hasn't heard of it. You should try it. It is GREAT. trust me. There are puzzle pieces to collect, and several puzzles to complete. Some of them are Kirby, Pikmin, Zelda, and New Super Mario Bros.
  • The color of the surface of the water matters. In Free Fishing, you are able to catch different fish depending on the color of the "water," you'll be allowed to catch different fish. Red gets you Cheep-Cheeps, for example, and yellow gets you Mr. AR.
  • When you make a Mii, you get asked what your favorite color is. You'll notice that this changes the color of your shirt. But it does more than that, it gives you special powers in StreetPass Quest. Some are environmental conditions and others are elemental attacks.
This is all! There is a list of some 3DS games.
Note: Depending on the time and place you read this, some of the games might of not been released.

Sonic Colors

I was personally worried about this game, but I believe that Sonic has a cheerful , colorful life ahead of him. The game, while a bit on the short side, (10 hours for the main story, at most) is fun and catchy. The new feature is the Wisps, and I like them. Not only do they fit the "Sonic" theme, I think that they are a great gameplay factor that make the game, and they give sonic some insane powers! There are three things I dislike about the game:
-You go so fast that you can't find some of the secret areas that are placed out of the way. You could run along an strait then go though a loop, missing a jump that could get you 10-20 rings.
-You can't find invincibility or shield boxes, and ring boxes are rare. you might be able to get though the whole game without seeing one.
-You can't use a spin dash to get up a slope. This I find very disappointing because in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 I didn't run fast enough, so I needed to spin dash my way out of the slope.
On the opposing side, here are some good things about sonic colors:
+The Special Stage isn't as hard as it used to be. You need 50 rings to get into it. I wish you good luck holding onto them (the rings) and making it!
+ The boss stages are hard. For some people it won't be a surprise and dis me, but what if boss stages where easy? That would be really sad. I mean, look, if the boss stages where easy, then there would be no fun beating them, which might lead to boredness, which would make earning new stages boring, therefor taking away half of the game's fun.
+The opening video is so cool! I hope there is more videos like it, but I think that it is one of a kind. It was still cool, though.

Super Mario 64 DS

This game is an add-on to Super Mario 64. I really like this game, so, depending on what matters most, you might think differently of this game than I do. I will say that if you go to the wall world as Wario, tell me what rabbit you find. whenever I go there (as Wario) I hear a rabbit's footsteps, but I can't find anything. Here are the pros and cons (ups and downs) of the game:
+ story. I know that everyone wishes that Bowser would capture princess peach for a good reason, but here you need to battle him three times, and every one of the arenas are special and only in this game.
+ you don't need to beat every level once, you just need 80 stars to beat Bowser and free princess peach. I'm really thankful for this, especially since I really, really hate ice worlds. The ice is so slippery, and its hard to aim your jumps, making you fall into a pit, hit freezing water, ect. The best thing is that you're able to just skip over them and go onto another "world" (picture.)
+There are 30 secret stars that you can unlock by jumping into certain things (pictures, drawings, a patch of light ect.) and then going though the level and wining.
-Controls. The controls feel faulty, making it hard to make that perfect turn. another thing I dislike is that your supposed to do a mission one way, but people cheat and use cannons(I dislike people who do that) to get to their star.
-Wario. I really wish that he would get a job somewhere else. like being an archaeologist. Wario would make a great archaeologist. I mean, really, he could use his terrible farting power to find an ancient vase. just don't include Wario! (Sorry, Wario fans, I don't like Wario.)

Mario Kart DS

This game is a great game in the Mario Kart series. As the first game in the series to include online game play, you're allowed to play with friends who don't have a game card. there are also numerous power-ups new to the DS. The newest mode is mission mode, a mode exclusive to the DS version. in this mode you will have to do quests, including diving backwards off a bridge and not falling off to beating someone in a race. there is also one boss in each "world" to defeat. Other than beating the Grand Prix, there is still a lot to do in the game. You can always go on rainbow road, (okay, not always, but some of the time) the hardest track in the game. The thing I'd wish that Nintendo did to this game would be to make it so that you can't snake (drifting to get boosts on freeways) online. Probably the best thing you could do is to only play with your friends that don't snake (I have a friend that snakes, I don't know about you) or just deal with it. If you snake I'm begging you, please stop snaking! Not is it annoying, it prevents other people (if they don't snake) from having a chance of winning! If you really have to snake, then do it on your own, where people don't have to worry about you cheating them. I promise you that it is almost as cheap as using an Action Replay! If even that doesn't make you stop, then consider the fact that people will look down on you if you snake, even if you do win. They might not race against you again, if they don't like snaking. Now I should get back to business, and stop protesting against people snaking (that doesn't make it any better, though.) I also would like to say that this IS the first Mario kart game to let you play against friends wirelessly.I'm so nice, I'll give you a video. Nice, huh? ( If you have a 3DS then you  should wait for Mario Kart 7.)

Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood

This is so cool! Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (Sonic RPG) is the first (and maybe last) Role Playing Game That sonic stars in. the blue blur is now being followed with some other friends as well. (There probably isn't a sequel, and if there is it will probably be on the 3DS) the friends include Tails, Amy, Shadow, and Knuckles. There are also two villains that you get to "play" with. There is a good storyline here that got me and all my friends the first time through. You are also able to control what sonic says, choosing from the helpful (nice) to the downright rude. don't worry, though, you can't loose any team members that way. In fact, it can be downright amusing. Otherwise people should leave this game to a RPG or Sonic the Hedgehog frantic (I being both) because after you beat the game all you can do is level up, collect chows, and watch the storyline again. Even I got tired after 30 hours. I'll get a good video.

LEGO Harry Potter: years 1-4

Let's talk about... LEGO Harry Potter: years 1-4. I'll say, this is a good game. the one word I'd use to describe the game is green. the game starts off with Hagrid on his flying motorcycle, crashing into a flowerbed, then giving professor McGonagall a flower. the designers also had a good idea on how to represent someone's death (anyone who has played a Lego game knows that Lego bricks reassemble) and making a (crude) joke about it. I'd by this game if you like Lego's, Harry Potter, or are just bored.
As always, here is a video:

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games isn't what I hoped it to be, in short. It just doesn't feel like the winter games are meant for playing. it's not that I'm disclaiming it, I'm just saying that it doesn't feel smooth. It is really good, the DS just isn't a good system, I'd like to see how it would be on a 3DS. like many racing games, I think that it now depends on whether you own a DS or 3DS, otherwise I think that the graphics were good, Dream Games (games that have weird effects that you wouldn't find in real situations) are still there, and the adventure mode is an added bonus. I'd say that if you have a 3DS this game would be worth buying if you even mildly like racing games, but you want to be able to sell it ( if you get bored with this game then you could just hand it in and get a new game.)  If you have a DS the controls won't be the same, but that doesn't really make too much of a difference.want a video? Then here is a video:

Pokemon heartgold/soulsilver

Pokemon heartgold/ soulsilver  looks like they will be one of the best Pokemon games ever. They have a lot of features, these being some of them:
  • There are two regions, Johto and Kanto.
  • There are more legendary Pokemon than any other game.
  • You can battle Red (Ash.)
  • You can get three starters.
  • You get to meet Steven, the champion in ruby/ sapphire.
These are just some of the reasons heartgold and soulsilver are great. Here is a video to prove that.

Pokémon black/white

Pokemon Black/White has great graphics, takes place in a new region, has over 150 new Pokemon, a good plot, and all the Wi-Fi access you could want! What more is there to ask? Well, a series reboot, for one thing. The whole game looks great. There is also Looker, a member of the international police, that returns from platinum. (During red/blue/ yellow/leaf green/fire red someone says that they are a member the international police, hmm, could that be Looker?) you are able to transfer, catch, and battle 4th generation Pokemon when you beat the game, though.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon explorers of sky

Pokémon: EOS (Explorers of sky) Is like the two pokémon mystery dungeon games that came before it. It has the same plot: Time is breaking down when you, a human from the future, go back in time and turn into a pokémon. It's up to you and your partner to form a team the stop the world's paralysis! Yeah, the same story. One of the biggest features is that you are able tho play special episodes, adventures where you are able to play as different pokémon in new dungeons. You'll want to get it if you really like time or darkness/you haven't played time or darkness/you would like to play the special episodes.

Pokémon platinum

This game drops you off in the Sinnoh region. You are a 10-year-old boy/girl in the Sinnoh region, and your dream is to become the Sinnoh region champion. You soon learn that being (and becoming) #1 is a lot more than throwing a few pokéballs at some Pokemon. Then team Galactic interrupts; this is a really good game that you would not want to miss. The distortion world has a great look, which is one of the reasons I'd choose it over diamond/ pearl. there are also two new people that appear, Looker and Charion. The graphics could be a bit better, but otherwise the only complaints I'd have would be about what it doesn't have. But, hey, they brought back the battle frontier from Pokemon Emerald!

Sonic classic collection

There isn't much to say here. Since we're looking at games that I can leave you blindfolded and you can get pretty far without any help, you might not want to buy it, but you should be alerted that there are 4 games, but you are able to play 2 of the same games as knuckles, so that might interest you. In addition to that there is the artwork (Of sonic!) that you can look at. If you've played these games before, there isn't anything new to do, but if you haven't then you should see what you're missing. I must warn you that the frame rate can be slower than you would want it to be sometimes. There are also some parts of the game(s) where you need to rely on luck.

Pokémon ranger guardian signs

Pokémon ranger guardian signs starts off in the middle of action chasing the pinchers chasing latios/latias, when, suddenly a Pokémon ranger arrives! This Pokémon ranger is you! the Pokémon pinchers send a Pidgey after you, then shoot at you with their plasma cannons. Your partner arrives after this, but with her comes Red Eyes (he's in the red.) After this he blasts his plasma cannon at your partner, but you move in front of her/him. Then you fall into the water. This is just the start of Pokémon ranger guardian signs. This game can get boring after awhile, and drawing the signs can be difficult, but this may be for the best.

New! super mario bros.

Hello! Hello! I feel like we should review New! super mario bros.(DS) first. Off the bat you have that feeling that this game is going to be a great game, staring everyone's favorite plummer, mario! In the first level you get to use a mega (as in MEGA) mushroom. the fun lasts to world five, when the ice starts to "melt". That reminds me, there is an cannon in world 1 and 2 that gets you to world 5. The cannon in world one is found by getting the shell suit. In world one tower get up to the point where you find the green pipe that shoots you past the door. As you come down wall jump onto the platform. When you are in the room and have collected the star coin, look around the room. See that space up in the corner that never gets blocked? Jump in there. Once that is done, spin dash. Whatever you do, do not jump into the yellow pipe. Once you are done,(you need to spin jump) enter into the pipe you've unlocked then pull down the flag outside. The second cannon is a lot easier, and I think that you can unlock it all by yourself.
There is another mode that you can play after you beat the main game: Challenge mode. After beating the game you just have to hit Start in the world map and enter the following code:
LRLRXXYY
The challenge mode puts a forced scroll on all of the levels, so you can't back-track.This is a video telling you how to get world one cannon:
