MARIO KART 7

Now I'm on a roll about these games. although Mario Kart 7 only lets you unlock people in 150cc
you can get parts for your kart by collecting coins. It really is that simple! This leads us to one of many things that's new about this game and makes it different from Mario's other racers. Collecting coins allows someone to raise their top speed a little, and every second counts. there is also a new number of modes, like the new ability to glide on special parts of the course. Naturally, since it was such a big hit in the Wii version, Nintendo gave new life to gyro controls. If, and it's a big if, you decide that you want to use the first-person control mode ( by pressing up on the control pads) you can use gyro controls. There are three new items in Mario Kart 7 that are new. first is the fire flower, that lets you shoot fireballs at your opponents. second is the tanooki tail, witch lets people send shells flying in a random direction.third is the lucky 7, witch gives the person using it a red shell, green shell, star, bomb-omb, blooper, banana, and a mushroom. note: the blue shell has gotten a lot scarier, with no wings, any car it hits will be wiped out.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-land Mayhem!

The third installment in the Mario VS. Donkey Kong series, you would know what to expect. This is a Mario game where you take control of "mini Marios," little wind-up playthings, to defeat donkey kong, who has stolen mario's poor used-to-be girlfriend, Pauline. Don't expect to be able to directly control the Mario's, though, as you can only put springs, pipes, and other items to alter the Mini Mario's course. As there is a downloadable version on DSiWare, though, you'd wonder why you should by this . I'll tell you why you should at least consider buying this game. This game version has a construction mode, a mode, where, after you complete a test, you are allowed to make your own levels, and you show off your level by letting someone play it. This is inter-wounded with the main mode. as you complete levels in the story, you get items that you are allowed to use in construction mode. This is only one of the things that is refined in the DSiWare version of this game.

Super Mario 64 DS

This game is an add-on to Super Mario 64. I really like this game, so, depending on what matters most, you might think differently of this game than I do. I will say that if you go to the wall world as Wario, tell me what rabbit you find. whenever I go there (as Wario) I hear a rabbit's footsteps, but I can't find anything. Here are the pros and cons (ups and downs) of the game:
+ story. I know that everyone wishes that Bowser would capture princess peach for a good reason, but here you need to battle him three times, and every one of the arenas are special and only in this game.
+ you don't need to beat every level once, you just need 80 stars to beat Bowser and free princess peach. I'm really thankful for this, especially since I really, really hate ice worlds. The ice is so slippery, and its hard to aim your jumps, making you fall into a pit, hit freezing water, ect. The best thing is that you're able to just skip over them and go onto another "world" (picture.)
+There are 30 secret stars that you can unlock by jumping into certain things (pictures, drawings, a patch of light ect.) and then going though the level and wining.
-Controls. The controls feel faulty, making it hard to make that perfect turn. another thing I dislike is that your supposed to do a mission one way, but people cheat and use cannons(I dislike people who do that) to get to their star.
-Wario. I really wish that he would get a job somewhere else. like being an archaeologist. Wario would make a great archaeologist. I mean, really, he could use his terrible farting power to find an ancient vase. just don't include Wario! (Sorry, Wario fans, I don't like Wario.)

Mario Kart DS

This game is a great game in the Mario Kart series. As the first game in the series to include online game play, you're allowed to play with friends who don't have a game card. there are also numerous power-ups new to the DS. The newest mode is mission mode, a mode exclusive to the DS version. in this mode you will have to do quests, including diving backwards off a bridge and not falling off to beating someone in a race. there is also one boss in each "world" to defeat. Other than beating the Grand Prix, there is still a lot to do in the game. You can always go on rainbow road, (okay, not always, but some of the time) the hardest track in the game. The thing I'd wish that Nintendo did to this game would be to make it so that you can't snake (drifting to get boosts on freeways) online. Probably the best thing you could do is to only play with your friends that don't snake (I have a friend that snakes, I don't know about you) or just deal with it. If you snake I'm begging you, please stop snaking! Not is it annoying, it prevents other people (if they don't snake) from having a chance of winning! If you really have to snake, then do it on your own, where people don't have to worry about you cheating them. I promise you that it is almost as cheap as using an Action Replay! If even that doesn't make you stop, then consider the fact that people will look down on you if you snake, even if you do win. They might not race against you again, if they don't like snaking. Now I should get back to business, and stop protesting against people snaking (that doesn't make it any better, though.) I also would like to say that this IS the first Mario kart game to let you play against friends wirelessly.I'm so nice, I'll give you a video. Nice, huh? ( If you have a 3DS then you  should wait for Mario Kart 7.)

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games isn't what I hoped it to be, in short. It just doesn't feel like the winter games are meant for playing. it's not that I'm disclaiming it, I'm just saying that it doesn't feel smooth. It is really good, the DS just isn't a good system, I'd like to see how it would be on a 3DS. like many racing games, I think that it now depends on whether you own a DS or 3DS, otherwise I think that the graphics were good, Dream Games (games that have weird effects that you wouldn't find in real situations) are still there, and the adventure mode is an added bonus. I'd say that if you have a 3DS this game would be worth buying if you even mildly like racing games, but you want to be able to sell it ( if you get bored with this game then you could just hand it in and get a new game.)  If you have a DS the controls won't be the same, but that doesn't really make too much of a difference.want a video? Then here is a video:

New! super mario bros.

Hello! Hello! I feel like we should review New! super mario bros.(DS) first. Off the bat you have that feeling that this game is going to be a great game, staring everyone's favorite plummer, mario! In the first level you get to use a mega (as in MEGA) mushroom. the fun lasts to world five, when the ice starts to "melt". That reminds me, there is an cannon in world 1 and 2 that gets you to world 5. The cannon in world one is found by getting the shell suit. In world one tower get up to the point where you find the green pipe that shoots you past the door. As you come down wall jump onto the platform. When you are in the room and have collected the star coin, look around the room. See that space up in the corner that never gets blocked? Jump in there. Once that is done, spin dash. Whatever you do, do not jump into the yellow pipe. Once you are done,(you need to spin jump) enter into the pipe you've unlocked then pull down the flag outside. The second cannon is a lot easier, and I think that you can unlock it all by yourself.
There is another mode that you can play after you beat the main game: Challenge mode. After beating the game you just have to hit Start in the world map and enter the following code:
LRLRXXYY
The challenge mode puts a forced scroll on all of the levels, so you can't back-track.This is a video telling you how to get world one cannon:
